How far ahead of time should a traveller submit a refund request? On Korean Air, applications for discounts must be submitted roughly 30 days following the ticket's expiration date. The traveller must present the request for the discount for an international trip at least 91 days before the scheduled departure. The Korean Air Refund Policy clearly suggests that passengers may look for deals as long as they have refundable tickets. If the passengers have tickets that are non-refundable, the airplane will not be required to provide compensation. If you have a Korean Air ticket that is non-refundable, you will be required to pay a few dollars for local travel and between $200 and $500 for overseas travel.
