With a new trailer this month, all about the upcoming expansion Siege of the Atlas and its brand new endgame content will be revealed. The stream will take place on January 27th, and the Grinding Gear Games team promises a lot of information about the Path of Exile expansion, as well as the Challenge League that accompanies its release.

As for what's to come, it might be worth keeping an eye on past Atlas expansions. Well, it doesn't tell us exactly what to expect, and if you've enjoyed Atlas content before, the new extension might keep you entertained for a while. For this reason, players can buy some POE Currency online in advance.

The livestream will air on the Path of Exile Twitch channel on January 27 at 11am PT, followed by a live QA to answer any questions that may arise. However, the last updated Scourge mechanism, the 3.16 expansion content will not be advanced to 3.17.

Siege of the Atlas will go live on February 4th and 3.16 Scourge will be removed. If players still have content from the Scourge Legion update to complete, they still have a few weeks to complete and claim all of their POE Currency and gear. The team did suggest that Scourge might Buy POE Currency at some point, but there are no plans yet. Given that it's an interesting mechanic, the developers probably won't drop it, especially when they're asked if Scourge is here to stay.
