National Examination Agency (NDA) conducts the NEET UG Entrance Exam exams for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Veterinary Medicine, and other medical/paramedical practices in India. National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) is the only exam for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in India. The test is conducted every year. NEET 2022 will be held at around 155 exam locations across India. With approximately 16 lakh examinees, NEET is India's premier medical exam for UG confirmation. NEET 2022 registration forms should be issued anytime during the second seven days of February. Notably, AIIMS and JIPMER MBBS exams have been discontinued and now admission is through NEET in addition to these two institutes.

On February 2, 2022, CBSE released the datasheet for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. It was speculated that the NTA along with the School Education Service may announce the NEET 2022 dates. However, no such notification has been issued by the NTA. Earlier, it was normal for the guidance service to give some clarity on the NTA NEET 2022 dates and prospectus in the first half of February, but nothing has happened so far. NTA announced the dates for JEE Mains in January, which fueled expectations among NEET aspirants that NTA will announce the NEET 2022 dates. It is now expected that the NEET 2022 dates may be declared in the primary part of February. As indicated in the regular schedule of NEET, the NEET 2022 examination is expected to take place in the latest seven days of June after the completion of Class 12 load-up examination.
