VERNON HASKIE
Vernon lives near Lukachukai Arizona among the red rock canyons that comprise the heart of the Navajo Nation. He was born in 1968. As a child he apprenticed jewelry making with his father, Leonard. In 1992 he attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. On the weekends he worked on jewelry, primarily overlay and inlay, to help pay his way through college. Often he would bring us pieces to our old town gallery which we eagerly purchased for display in our shops.
